A few months ago I was contacted by the models Suzana Grebenar & Anastassija Makarenko. They asked me, if I would like to do a test shooting with them. I felt very flattered and happily agreed, so we planned a session in a studio in Frankfurt. We tried a few different looks, but my favorite images of the day were in front of this olive green backdrop. Thank you to the wonderful Adina Hensel for the great hair & make up!

The project “COVID ZONE” shows portraits of hospital workers who work at the corona station of the University Hospital in Frankfurt. These people represent nurses & doctors around the world, who are risking their own health to help others in times of the pandemic.
The medical care professions are particularly affected by the Corona Pandemic. At the beginning there was a lot of applause within the society, but the cheering has long faded.
Many overtime hours and the danger of infecting themselves are part of their daily routine. To date, over 115,000 hospital workers have died from COVID-19 worldwide.
With my portraits, I wanted to bring a small part of these courageous people into the spotlight.
The pictures were taken in March 2021 at the University Hospital in Frankfurt.

Last year I photographed a really nice job for Nivea in Hamburg, that I would like to share now. Across generations, genders, sexual orientations and skin colors the brand celebrates togetherness. The featured product is the special rainbow edition of the classic Nivea cream can. Alongside the film production for this project, I was shooting the still images for this campaign. The following images are my personal favorites. It was a really nice production with a great cast! Thank you to everyone involved.

Almost one year ago, when Corona was only a smaller topic on the news, I was in Cape Town for two weeks. I photographed some landscapes and did a quick test shoot with Panna on Clifton Beach. After Christmas I finally had some time to go through the images and select my favorites. Here are some sunny images in the middle of winter. I hope we can all travel again soon!

After many years of construction, the Jewish Museum in Frankfurt is finally celebrating its grand reopening. I was hired to photograph the campaign, which can be seen all over the Rhein-Main area at the moment. We portrayed five testimonials in Frankfurt and Berlin, all of which have a special connection to the museum. I really enjoyed working on this project and would like to thank everyone who helped with this campaign!
